Arrrrgh! mad

I'm trying to send myself pictures from my phone but it won't work! It used to!

I feel like this looks like whining. It's actually screaming, kicking, and gritting my teeth in frustration.

That's why the last few pics I added have such s***tty quality!

Oh, galiant white knight, who will come to my rescue? kiss
cast:
Why he gotta be white? You got something against brown knights? and Asians? I see we've learned alot about Miss Valexis today, haven't we. wink
cast:
Oh man I'm normally all about nonviolence, but when I see a $25 ticket with a by-the-way-you-owe-us-an-extra-ten, I start looking for somebody to choke. mad Whoever the Ticketmaster is needs to get his ass kicked. Then he'll be the . . . Ticket. . . got his ass kicked . . . stupid . . . jerk . . . master. blackeyed (I've been looking for a chance to use that blackeyed smiley.)

Anyway I'm glad to see that you accept knights of all races, creeds, colors and previous conditions of serivitude. robot Knights just want to be loved like everybody else. *group knight hug* *clank*

My friendship trio (best friends both) I've had since high school is falling to pieces. It sucks because I'm in the middle. My two others (guys) are having an alkward falling out.

Partied with one last night (along with the new girlfriend, also my cousin) and had beers with the other tonight (hopelessly in love with me, and I mean that in no way to...

Why are they falling out? frown
valexis:
I'm not entirely sure about the falling out. I think it comes down to one always likes the girl but the other always gets her. I assume (and hope) that there's more to it than that, but that's all anyone's telling me. If nothing else, I think the latest girl was the catalyst.

And I can't talk sense into either. One's in denial and the other's a drama king. confused

Just sitting at home, glass of water in hand. Grade book sitting on the coffee table, giving me the evil eye.

I think I can beat it.

Tomorrow I have a lovely new dishwasher to buy and then a massage! love I love massages!

The next day is reserved for shopping at the garage sale extravaganza - The White Elephant Sale! If you live near Oakland,...

Still "bumbling" with your mac?

When I first got mine, I hung out at http://www.macnn.com
Check out the Forums....It is a good place to learn not only what you are doing with software but also a little tidbits about your hardware.

cast:
Armchair sounds comfy. I'd better stay away from that sale; I need to get rid of stuff instead of acquiring new stuff. robot

If your gradebook is a pain, try www.gradekeeper.com. They have a program for $20 that is just like your paper grade book. It's very simple and everything is laid out in a really common-sense way. It calulates everything with whatever weights you want. It's easy to post a new grade sheet every week, so your students always know what their grades are. I'll never use any other program.

I agree with you that we run the risk of damaging our students. Many of them have been traumatized by their previous teachers frown, and we have to be careful not to do the same. Teaching is definitely an exercise in sensitivity.

Went out dancing with my cousin last night. Good times. We went to North Beach with the intentions of heavy dancing and light flirting. But then I remembered that I don't really like to bump and grimd with sweaty strangers. Friends are fine, though.

I love just dancing in the corner, in my own world. i don't feel like my dance style exactly screams, "Hurry...

if you have a minute, what got you into teaching? how long ya been at it? is it fulfilling? inquiring minds want to know.

Yeah, the freaking thing is a constant thorn. Maybe someone should come up with a tag or something that indicates your level of freakiness. There are wristbands for booze; how about colored wristbands that say "Freak On" or "Freak Off"

Some girl came up to dance with me last night, and she held my hands in the sweetest way. How the hell did hand holding go out of style anyway?

As the holiday madness begins to fade into a drunken blur, work once again seizes hold of my every last freaking breath. What I had considered to be sweet 6th graders after 2 weeks away, I'm now remembering why I love my summers off.

But it's cool, as long as I have my little Gabino, who looks just like a cute little Oompa-Loompa, my smile...

Those are the luckiest, goddamn 6th graders in the world.

No, I teach math at a fashion school. It's very diverse in terms of the subjects taught, and I like my class to be that way too. The more random stuff we do, the more fun we seem to have (at least for me). Geography sounds cool. Whatcha got?

Was it Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn who got his friends to paint his fence for him? Only happens in the South I guess. whatever

Jesus, it's been a while (no pun inteneded). I just literally returned from the cast party, ending the show I take part in every holiday season. Some of you may know it . . .

Revels anyone?

It's in 10 cities across the country so I figured there might be one of ya out there. It's a celebration of the winter solstice. A nice, non-commercial...

I had a nice Thanksgiving with the fam. They never make turkey so this year was cornish game hens. I thought they were kind of funny looking, but tasty.

The guests were a little crazy this go round. Aside from my coolio step-mom, dad, and cousin, there was our friend Gerard, an older gay man who ended up going on a crazy tyrade about sin...

Considering I'm far too impatient for cooking a turkey, hens are the way to go, and you can fit 10 on a rack!

I love holidays. I only had to sit through a staff development day on Monday and then the rest of the week I'm free!

Walking around on a sunny Tuesday afternoon when so many poor suckers are stuck at work. Or maybe everyone is off too.

I like the idea of having a day off when no one else does. It's like playing hookey. Or...
