Soooooooo, we've been raising money for cancer and I, opening my big mouth, volunteer to shave my hair into a mohawk if we raise $5000. Now, we've never raised more than $2000 so I think I'm safe. No effing way will we even come close. In fact, I didn't even make the gauge keeping track of our total as high as that!
As I'm sure you have guessed by this point, things aren't as I had intended. As of last week, we had raised just over $4000. We've been bringing in an average of $300 per day. The official "Shave Day" is scheduled for this Friday and we already have a few other teachers lined up to get the chop. With 4 days to collect next week (nothing comes in on Wednesday), I could very well be included in that list!!
All morning I've been googling pics of mohawk cuts for girls. I just hope I'm as cute as I think I am!!!
Shhh! Don't tell, but I kinda hope we get to $5k. I'm feeling like the change could be fun. Will I be able to hang with the upkeep?
