Woah!! Crazy, crazy, crazy!! I've been busy back at work, but a few words about my trip first:
1. Philly is now one of my favorite cities! I absolutely loved everything about it (ok maybe the humidity wasn't so great). If I were going to move somewhere, that would be my first choice. of course, I ain't leaving the bay area anytime soon, so that's all fantasy.
2. the programs I participated in while in Philly were super fun and now I know more than I ever thought i'd learn about american history. the last program in massachusetts was ok. by the time i got there, i was fucking OVER being away from home, so it was tough to fully appreciate it
3. when organizing a program for visiting professionals, always plan for sightseeing. We worked every fucking day for over a week straight. Even on god damn Sunday! Pardon the taking the lord's name in vain, in case you're a fan.
Crap. I've run out of time for this whole updating of my blog. Gots to get on out for a night on the town with my hot, hot boyfriend and my married friends. They've been together for long enough that they've realized they never get out anymore. So, I benefit by getting guest list, general "cool kid" status at a cheesy/trendy/fantastic club in the city.
Damn the bridge closing. We have to take BART. But not driving means everyone gets to drive . . . . Maybe this won't be so bad after all . . . . . . .
