Yup. While there are nods to Kubrick in her strategy, that's the scenario. Consider what they would use as stopgap solutions, i.e. organ raiding, not educating the masses, essentially using them as biological stopgaps.

Problem? It's not just a cure for cancer. It's the immortality vector.

And who really cares at this point. They do what they do, and for Paradise to emerge naturally and for the masses to live peaceful lives free of violence and fear, that room must exist.

For all that I dislike the idea of harming another being, sentient or otherwise, when left with enough cognition and free of judgment, they do it to others.

They already have and still will. Not only am I reducing it to a historical footnote, we are turning it into an infinite prison.
