Yesterday was strange.
I went to work, and found out a good friend (and co-worker) was facing possible jail time. A year or two ago, he let a girl when had no money and no home move in with him. He also allowed her access to his bank account after they had grown close. To say that he has been financially unstable since that point would be putting it mild.
Anyway, the girl caused him to bounce a check she wrote. He was knowtified that if he didn't take care of the bill (one that she was supposed to take care of) by 8 AM today, he would be going to jail. The bill was now up to $400.
This story will at least have a semi-good ending though. Everyone pulled together for him and between his friends the money was found. Having said that, the one person who got him into this mess would only hang up on his phonecalls rather than deal with it.
Some people are just fucked up.
