To say that the election results were a shock and a letdown would be an understatement. I knew my homestate would vote red, but I never expected Ohio and Florida to do the same.

Worrying about it now isn't going to help. Like someone said over in the CE board, now is a time for Democrat/Independent Anti-Bush to band together and work for making this country better despite its leader. It is starting to feel a little futile for me come election times though. I have voted in 2 Presidential elections and been on the loosing side both times. They have both been close races, but when Kansas carries Bush by about 70% each time, I don't think my vote is going for much.

I was extremely happy to see a large voter turnout this time. That in itself is a victory for this country.
