We went to Shrek 2 last night. I must say, I laughed my ass off throughout the entire movie. I also enjoyed the additions to the cast. Jennifer Saunders (of AbFab) played the Fairy Godmother, John Cleese (Monty Python) was the King, and Julie Andrews was the Queen. My only complaint is that everywhere you turn right now, you have to see some kind of Shrek product for sale. It is really boarderline overkill.

I went golfing for the first time in almost 4 years yesterday. I hit the ball about how you would imagine it after that long of a break. After we finished our game, my friend and I drove the cart back up to the clubhouse where we ran into the manager. He asked us if we wanted to come over to the driving range and hit some ball s with him (for free). We did and when we got over there, a camera guy was set up. It seems they were gonna film a commercial that morning and the course was dead as could be. We had to populate the driving range to make it look like there was some activity. At least we got about $26 of free ball out of it and I'm apparnetly going to be on TV at some point in the future. Oh my.
