hahahaha ok so guess what I did for turkey day this year...
NOTHING!!
well atleast nothing family related.. whicdh was actually pretty darn kool cause every damned year we do something for T-day it usaully involves going to my sisters and listening to my mom and grandma argue about crap my grandma thinks she seee's and my mom spending half an hour at a time trying to convince her its not really there..
Yup Loads of fun there.. Not!
So yeah this year I just kept my big mouth shut untill the night before T-day and then when my mom was on the phone talking to som prick she stops and asks me "hey matt, you know we're not doing anything for thanksgiving this year dont you?" and I'm just like.. yeah I kinda figured that.. and shes like "well are you ok with that?" and I'm like.. sitting there trying to contain my joy and look somewhat bummed out.. and say "yeah sure that just means I get more sleep tomorow!" and she goes on talkin to whoever the hell it is on the phone.
So then I stay up till like 2am wednesday night and dont get up till like noon on thursday.. and I'm like, Hmm... food.. so I start callin peeps up askin um what they're doin.. and ya most of um are going through the crap I was oh so fortunate to have evaded, and I finnally call jaime and find out shes not doin anything, and tell her to come over.. and then I get ahold of kelly and get her over, and she brings her bf (whos name I have yet to retain in my memory
).. and finally I call amy and get her to yank her dads van and we all go out cruisin.
I think we spent like an hour and a half just driving around gawkin at peoples xmas decor in their lawns (and at one point julie shook up a beer can and through it at a little lawn-elf thing and blew the shit out of it, that was funny).
And then we realized we were all gettin hungry so I opted for munchies at perkins.. fuck.. was it perkin or dennys.. Ahh hell whatever the hell they're both pretty much the same freakin place.. Anyways!! we went over the and sat there munchin for like 2 hours and talkin bout what everyones family is doing right now.. and I'm just like, Hahaha they're all stuck with old people!!
so yeah I think this is the best Turkey day I've had since me and Amber stole the jet boat and ended up in canada.. Haha!!
