watched a documentary on netflix called The Medicated Child, it was really fascinating and at the same time really fucked up at the amount of kids that are misdiagnosed and put on meds for disorders they don't even have and so many of the medications weren't even really being tested properly to even find out what the side effects were. I remember when I was younger my mother jumped on the meds bandwagon and had me put on a few different things, it was miserable. But one of them was really new on the market at the time, granted this was when I was like 9 years old. Come to find out this drug hadn't been tested properly on children, and in children it was known to induce suicidal thoughts. Its pretty scary the shit that people are pumping into their kids and constantly wanting to believe there is some chemical imbalance, something that needs a med to fix it rather than they're just being kids
