something short, i got distracted while writing this and couldn't think of anything else.


drifting into sleepy eyes,
the night has come again.
with your blissful song,
and the promise of sweet dreams,
i fall into your arms.
you hold me tight and whisper in my ear
"don't worry love, i'll always be here."
so there i lie and fall into sleep
and dream of you next to me

"as i lay me down to sleep"
i dream of her i have yet to meet.
