So, my dad and I just had one of those moments. He said something to me that shocked the shit out of me. We were on our way back from visiting my grandmother and he looks over at me while I am driving and sais " Wayne, I made some mistakes when I was raising you. Both your mother and I. You never demanded any attention or even asked for material things, so we never gave those things to you. I realize now how wrong that was of me, just because you were not begging ffor attention, that I should have given more to you." 
And I am just like ummmmmmm. I mean what do you say to something like that?
Anyway, had a great day. Got alot of work accomplished and had fun with my brother and dad while doing it. Had a great easter egg hunt for about 10 kids, including my sister and nephew. It went great. I hid 192 plastic eggs. But my sister-in-law stuffed most of them.
Now it is off to get my buddy a case of beer. Later friends.

It's weird when you are out of the house and start seeing your parents as individuals and not just your parents you know...I just thought of that cause of what you said your dad said to you. I really don't know what you say to something like that either. I miss egg hunts!!! haha.
