i've got the entire day off today and it's beautiful day in the city. hmmmmmmm, what to do? my house and bedroom are in dire need of a good scrub, but it would be a shame to waste a sunny day inside.
me thinks i'll grad the skimboard and head over to the 'banks for a skim session. i'd love to go for a bike...

I'm tellin' ya, this posting in the other person's journal to respond is the weirdest way of communication, but I think it works.

Kinda cool to just be able to check your journal for replies, I guess smile

Anyway, I can't (well, I can, but it's hard to) believe he'd do that. I mean, the guys't talented, really talented, but this is just a bad example of what an ego can do. I'd hate to see him when he hits bottom, though a lot of other artists have launched humble careers from the bottom and did all the better because of it. That's my last hope for him, I guess. (I'll still give his 'solo' album a listen)

The swap is STILL ON!. As long as the CDs get to LionFire before July 1st and you've followed all the basic rules at Son of SG CD Swap IV

Both AFI and the Foo Fighters ruled ass. Davey Havok was full of energy considering it was 106 outside and had everyone there on their feet. The Foo Fighters were the headlining act and didn't come on until after 9PM when it had already cooled down quite a bit, but Dave Grohl was one of the coolest "stars" I've ever seen since he was out schmoozing with the crowd earlier in the day and more then impressive during their set. All in all... totally bad ass show

i'm not really a big fan of theirs, but i saw them in SF the other night and I have to say It was more than I expected. I have a new found respect for their drummer. He took over on harmonies becasue matt didn't feel like singing much.
props to whomever dude is.
