My flatmate started this diet thing to me on Monday. I guess it's some version of the Atkins plan and to be honest, I don't know much about it but I do know that he is cooking, and tells me what little I can eat. Needless to say, I've been living on beef, chicken, fish, cheddar cheese and diet, caffeine free soda for a good week now. I do find myself already 20lbs (about 9 kilos for my friends across the pond! Yay! *Muah*) lighter and the definition on my arms is starting to show from the workouts, now that they're not so... squishy. 
Hehe. I'm liking this. I have one more week this then I get to start eating a little more variety and move on with life as normal. I do however, have to try and control what I eat. It's true... I eat when I'm board. No more of that. Damn. Heh. Oh well, he's my best mate, and he asked like a puppy so I caved and I'll tough it all out. Yes, the things we do for friendship.
Anyway, the cold is gone completely and I'm feeling well, other than what the diet has been doing to me.
Things have been keeping me busy. Much overtime at work, much of a mess with my computers at home, and much time getting pulled away to tasks with the family. Not to mention someone ran into my driver side door in a plaza parking lot the other day, so that's been fun.
My pretty Trinity (the truck) is hurt, but working and my door opens. The other driver was unable to open his passenger side doors. Ha. Serves him right for taking the turn a bit too wide. Oh well. His insurance had accepted responsibility and is going to have it fixed. She's (the truck) in the shop already, and on her way to being repaired. I understand that they will simply be replacing the door shell and adjusting the frame but that's about it. It's also gonna cost the insurance company about US$3,000. Glad I don't have to flip that bill.
Well, anyway all, it's time for me to run away for awhile. I'm at work today and just hanging out really. Gonna go back to doing nothing cause now that it's getting toward 8000 and 9000 this morning, more people are coming to work and the chances of getting in trouble for being on (what they sadly classify as) a dirty website while on the clock, is getting greater and greater.
