Yay! It's almost my birthday! I had my family party on the weekend. I did pretty well, I had TWO cakes, lots of guests and got some great gifts. The only thing I would have changed would be the fact that my two very normal yet sleazy surrey cousins were there. Their "too cool" attitude seemed to bring down the fun upbeat mood. My family decided to give me a little kids party this year. Great idea, totally funny. Complete with animal shaped plates, bowls and untensils, pink table cloth with matching pink napkins and lots of silly balloons.
Thursday I've got the day off work for my birthday, and a doctors appointment. My friend Roger is taking me out to see Aeon Flux after the appointment. I hear the movie was awful but seeing Charlize Theron with raven coloured hair and matching black costumes ought to make it worth while.
After the movie it's off to the pub for a few drinks and some delicious chicken wings. Yum. Then Friday is my big birthday bash. Just having it at a local club because I have nowhere to host a house party. Nor the money to do it.
I got my Christmas bonus today. A whopping $100. Woohoo. Oh well, it'll pay enough to get me significantly drunk this weekend.
My grandma gave me a new computer moniter on the weekend. I should probably start cleaning off my desk to start using. It's 10 X better than this one and will make looking at all the new photosets a much more enjoyable experience.
She also bought me all new bedding for my birthday. I get to pick it up from Sears on the 22nd. It's really nice. Dark red shiny material with gold stitching. Matching pillow cases and ivory coloured sheets. Quite the upgrade from my blue comforter with star and moon prints.
I've narrowed down my New Years Eve options a bit. There are a couple local events I wouldn't mind attending. I'm still holding out for the good stuff though. A wicked house party followed by the possibility of me posting a new bruise photoset.
