So much racism on my IG and Facebook. Really disappointing. People are people, stop singling out race. I don't understand why it's even still an issue.
Being biracial I've been picked on by people of every race so I hate all people equally (jokes but honestly I hang alone). I keep to myself and don't start shit, especially when it comes to these issues, but lately I've been so hurt I've been lashing out. And I'm not one to be easily offended.
The issue is so complex I won't even get into it. I understand both the pain and frustration from each race (which, to clarify, we as people are ONE RACE).
I'd like to think SG is somewhere where everyone loves everyone, but I'm also not stupid. Between all this supposed hate between girls, racist comments from fans or followers, sometimes you see the people you love and admire respond so poorly it really ruins your perspective of them. That extends beyond racism. Then there's just the general ignorance of those on social media, which is always nice...
So much sarcasm in this post.
All I ask is to be left alone but I still deal with this shit a lot. I'm not a victim, I can't say I'm not a little angered, but it is what it is. I've struggled hard enough excepting my race and who I am for myself I'm not about to let anyone ruin that progress.
Ending my rant just needed to vent. I still love this community but the world is fucking rough. Let's make it a little better.
