Rockstar North are the guys who made Grand Theft Auto. They are in Scotland. The Vancouver studio, of which I am part, does not exactly have the same level of esteem. I mean, they shipped GTA, fuck.
So, there have been problems with the audio in my game, but mostly a matter of us making features and not worrying so much about the mix etc. This resulted in a visit from the boys at North, basically to allow this extremely heavy dude to determine if we were suckers are not.
According to rockstar north I am not a sucker, I guess. I do still have a job.
Having the guys who wrote GTA looking over your shoulder and at your code is, um, a great opportunity. For stress.
But let it be known I roll with the big dogs.
