I remember going to one when I was very young and boo-ing. It wasn't because I was dissatisfied with the entertainment, and really, I don't think that my tiny lungs pushed enough air to have anybody but my poor embarrassed mother hear me over the cheering throng. It was because that moment was the first time I realized that I was free to express myself however I wanted, irrespective of what other people thought or what custom (in this case, that you had to applaud after an act) dictated. So I do offer very sincere apologies to any circus folk who may have caught the faintest hint of my seeming displeasure. But I was just having a formative moment.
Don't mind me, Bozo - that juggling's A-OK.
Now please say you're gonna do another set because you're absolutely gorgeous.
