there is stuff i like that i get shit for. i listen to a lot of different kinds of music...punk, new wave, classical, country, industrial...where i live, i get crap because i am still punk. supposidly (according to the 19 year olds here) punk is so 2001, therefore i am clueless 
. most people here are pretentious indie rock snobs. i never liked that kind of music, but living where i do has just turned me off to the whole subculture. i know that might be negative of me, but i just got fed up with attempting to be nice only to have them treat me like an inferior. i have heard the music. i work at a music store...i just don't find anything there in that form of music that appeals to me...but i am so not cool because i didn't get the kansas memo that punk is so last year. IT IS KANSAS FOR FUCKS SAKE> WHY DO PEOPLE HERE ACT LIKE THIS IS THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH WHEN IT IS NOT. hahahah. i just don't change my style and taste in music like i change my underwear. i really don't give a shit what source magazine says is cool. fuck em. fuck em all. listen to what you want to. wear what you want to...and if they are rude and snobby...ignore them or be the same back to them.
