everything happens for a reason. it's something i have to believe in after many heartaches and let downs. i know that hurting really sucks, and longing for things to have been different can hurt you even more. it hurts our hearts so much to think about how it was versus the way our minds thought it could be. we have this wonderful notion of how things are supposed to play out in our lives, and almost never do things go the way we pictured they would. all i have known to heal this pain or make it a mere dull ache is time. sometimes it's a little time, sometimes it's years of time. still, in other cases it's an entire lifetime. i don't know how much time you will need, but take all that your heart wants. i'm thinking of you and i hope you can catch the good vibes i'm sending your way. sweet, nice, healing vibes.
