i got 'let go' yesterday. after working at this job all of five days. said they needed someone full-time (i'm still in school). why'd they bother to hire me? i should have known something was up when i went to sign in and my name was not on the sheet. they waited until the end of my shift to tell me. when i mentioned that i'd be taking a two-month leave of absence from school, starting next week, they said 'oh, i didn't know about that' but it didn't change the fact that i no longer work there. fuckers.
