i need to stop looking at pictures of missing people and unidentified dead. i do this all the time. and it scares the hell out of me.
i wish i could help those poor people find their families, but none of them look familiar, except the ones i recognize from having seen their fliers ten years ago.
the listings are awful: "the children were last seen going on vacation with their mother. she has since been found deceased. the children's whereabouts are unknown."
i broke myself of rotten.com pretty easily compared to this.
but i signed up for the mailing list for updates when a missing person is found. and so far? no updates. not even an email about having identified Precious Doe, and that was all over the news.
in other news, egon is in florida eating meat with his friends. and he has his graduation ceremony on friday. good for him. he has worked hard for the past three years.
and i'm reading a book called Mutants. i never finished Stiff-- i got distracted.

Don'tcha kind of wish they'd done that for the twenty years beforehand? Parents are now so understandably paranoid that if you say hello back to a friendly little kid you meet in your neighborhood the parents are shooting you dirty looks. One of the main reasons for childhood obesity in the U.S. is that parents don't like letting their kids outside to play.
