my parents are in town. they came to visit me at work and called me by the name i never use, which of course my boss found hilarious. she thinks she's got some big secret on me.

my mother also wanted to take a picture of Me At Work. i refused.

anybody seen the BBC program Keeping up Appearances? Hyacinth Bucket ("pronounced bouquet")... that's my mom, basically. but substitute a southern accent for the british one.
