just so yall don't think i'm bragging-- if i hadn't sold anything i would have been very mad about the crappy tips i made.
and i got two Will Oldham albums- a rerecording of a bunch of Palace Songs, and something about merchant sailors. i haven't gotten to listen yet.
oh, and the Stupid Manicurist Quote of the day: manicurist: "are you a recovering alcoholic?"

manicurist: 'recovering alcoholics get up in the middle of the night and eat candy.'
first of all, who the fuck asks someone something like that? and i really wonder how many recovering alcoholics she knows.
probably just, like, one guy who ate candy once, or some friend of hers told her this. god she amazes me.
