i can't cook. (my mom wasn't too good at it, so she had no skills to pass on to me.) but now i am no longer ALLOWED to cook.

at work we are having a potluck thing today, and i said i'd bring a dessert. my aunt has a fantastic recipe that doesn't really involve cooking- just mixing. so i got all the stuff, and set out to prepare it last night.

first, i spilled nearly a whole bag of chocolate chips behind (yes, behind) the refrigerator. trying frantically to clean them up before the cats could interfere, i pulled the fridge forward. a gallon jug of water plummeted to the floor and exploded.

egon laughed his ass off and kicked me out of the kitchen. permanently.

the other two jugs of water look lonely on top of the fridge now.
