OMFG!!!! I'm so happy right now!!! Extra special love and thanks to the awesome moothejew for finding these FREE .mp3s of Stan Freberg's 15 CBS Radio shows from 1957 for me!!!!! I used to have them on CD a few years ago, but not sure what happened to them. I have been looking for these files for months, but had only found Episode 13: All About Werewolves as an .mp3, and only found the rest as RealAudio files, which I can't play on my Blackberry.
One of my all-time favorite radio comedy sketches is Miss Jupiter!!!
Stan runs into Miss Jupiter who was discriminated against in the Miss Universe Pageant, "well, could it be because of your height? How tall are you?"
Stan's radio sketches are sooo funny and ahead of his time, and have been favorites of mine since I was a child:
