urgh,back to work tomorrow now im all recovered and stuff from my operation!
had an odd night last night,we'd heard about this new night they were having at a local club [the edge] well,let me explain the edge,its not the most wonderful of places at the best of times,its dirty,smelly & you stick to the floors yet somehow its managed to keep many people going for years! i think the only reason i tend to go now is because i know 80% of the people that will be there...whether thats good or not i dont know but i like to be in familiar surroundings,i hate change,plus i know the dj so can make him play stuff i want! mwahaha....anyway....the sunday night was or so i thought previously a student night,8 to get in with an nus & drink as much as you want,but we thought it had changed to:free to get in,free cocktail for girls,free shot for boys,1.50 drinks....
no one told us it was commercial pop and dance....! i would have been ok with that if it was actually commercial & britney like shit but the stuff was just complete see thru white skirt loafer wearing townie music.awful.we sneaked in downstairs and managed to get some free drinks but it was still empty downstairs,even though i did get to see jen who i havnt seen for ages! so that was kool.so yea the night was a bit crap,but they daytime fun...we went to collectormania5 in milton keynes and got some v v kool stuff
i got a wizard of oz picture with a kool transparent window thingy [hard to explain]
the scorpion and pink from 'the wall' [as in pink floyd film] which came on this kool wall background and u collect them and fit em together.
a freddy kreuger figure
and a 70's glinda the good witch dool in box never opened for 10 pounds!!
my bf dan got this VVV kool spiderman thing,was a pic from the film and two film cells and a part from the comic the cells were the bits they cut out of the film with the world trade centre in it,its v rare and he got it for 45 pounds! woop....hmmm what else we get...think thats it! cant wait for another one...november though

but anyway ive talked for too long now! bye bye and yay finally got my download tickets!!! woo hoo

Sounds like the kinda clubs i go to. Crap but familiar which is kinda comforting but still sucks after going too much.
