I'd like to show you all the photos I shot during the Echos festival in the South of France
It's a small festival which took place last June. A guy from my class is one of the orga, that's how i'm aware that this event exists ! The concept is the reverberation of the echo of the sounds through mountains. There's a scene in front of a mall pond, in an undergrowth crossed by a river (you can see the scene on the last photo) where experimental music is played by different performers. The sound is separated in three part: bass, medium and treble. Each level is amplified by a HUGE tubes, made of wood or rock. That's how the effect of echo is set up and it's really impressive.
The camping was totally savage and the food served by a little farm. We had a hike by climbing the mountain during which I took very unique photos. Including this panorama wich transformed my friend in Slenderman hahaha (look at her arm!)
I also I took a disposable camera with me with which I shot a single photo from those days.
I shot almost the same with my telephone. I touched it up a lot to realize a vintage picture... The result is rather different.
We observed many animals and plants of the mountain. I took those photos near the river.
We reached the place of the festival after 7 hours of road and an extremely sloping and rocky hike of 40 minutes in the cold and at night! But those days are among the best ones I had during 2015. The place was enchanting, fantastic, the way of life was really cool and I had a lot of fun with people I love, while listening to sounds from outer space... Or violent techno hahaha.
I have only one regret : the landscape would have been PERFECT for a set, I thought about it more than twice during the stay !
