Last night my family all went to this mexican-ish/baja place for dinner where they bring your food in a bucket. You get like chicken, steak, shrimp and little lobster things and they just cram them in this little metal pucket and you grab whatever you want. It was really good but i ate too much. We came home and did our presents and stuff. We normally do that on Christmas day but my dad is a firefighter and has to work today. I told my parents i didn't want anything for christmas but they got me a new ipod because they somehow heard that my old one was shitting out on me. They also got me this HUGE chocolate santa. It weighs four pounds and is nearly two feet tall. I can't imagine ever eating it but it's fucking hilarious.
Tonight we're having dinner at my dads fire station. His station is in this really nice, rich neighborhood and one of the families is having a catering company bring an entire meal to the station for all the fireman and their families. It's pretty awesome of them. We went last year for Christmas eve and they had some really expensive Prime Rib. I was never really a fan of it before but this stuff was pretty damn good.
My family has had some rough patches this year but i'm glad we have come together for the holidays and it has been pretty nice this year. If anyone reads this i hope you have good/safe holidays.
