I'd almost rather be on the bike, but it *is* February. Not so fun to cover 2,000 miles in 4 days travel time. I will have to fix the blower motor in the car before venturing north, and 300+hp with RWD and wide tires will be awesome if it snows.

Crashing sucks, and crashing a new bike while getting hurt in the process sucks more...
...but you'll heal, the bike can be fixed, and it could have been much worse. I've written five estimates for crashed 1098s so far, one of which had $19,800 in visible damage.
I've always found it helpful to spend some post-crash time with my moto friends in a social setting, which is helpful in avoiding psyching yourself out. Everyone crashes, and more people drop a new bike than you'd think. I see it every week.
