Chapter 1: sense and reference

I need a scene of someone in bed doomscrolling on a phone. But I don't want to use stock footage, if someone wants to try that with me, you'll find a way to reach me on here!

in fact I do actually have a barely functional screenplay that we could improv, seems like a fun project. Bit of commentary documentary, we'll do it like in HBO High Maintenance we need more of that right now.

anyway, won't spoil that ending just yet. If you can see how that would play out in your head, definitely interested in making that a happening thing.

doesn't even have to be doomscrolling, just that thing you do when you check your phone or other device. How does that make you feel, what do you want to show others, what is the emoji you'd associate with that moment, and film that.

I'd like to think that was a 💡 moment 🤪😑🙄
