In the blaring heat I had a panic attack. We were headed home in our
small city car, without AC. Saw the trees, saw the grass, and all I
could think of "glad I didn't light a cigarette".
There was this report recently: 70% of the global forests are in
immediate danger, with essential tipping points racing towards of us. I
could see it happen....

For those in the Northen Hempisphere, Comet NEOWISE (C/2020 F3) is making an appearance! The first naked eye visible comet since 1997. Look to the North low on the horizon after dark if it's clear, should be easy to spot!
