Somewhat good people occasionally happen...
Ok, so a few months ago I moved here to a cutesy apt. complex where I assumed nothing shady would ever happen. Oddly enough there are all these tiny laundromats attached to our buildings and between the two instances where I bothered to try to use one here (and there's card entry and all for them) I've had dresses, bras and finally almost all the bedding I had for my guest room here stolen. I was the most bummed out about that last one because it was all faux pink snakeskin and it made me happy as it did my guests. So, I am trudging up the steps back to my place tonight after work past the laundromat and there was my pink bedding all tied up with some plastic rope behind the window inside the laundromat with a note on it that said "Sorry" in big sharpie letters. Even cooler is they bothered to wash it all again because the detergent didn't smell like mine. Of course I will be washing that bitch again like three times before it goes on the guest room bed again because who knows what freakazoid was groping my comforter but that's not the point. Whatever heathen initally stole my bedding a week and a half ago has a soul and brought it back. I could almost totally forgive them for traumatizing me if I were not so wigged out at the possibility that the person who stole and gave back my bedding could very well be the person who stole my other stuff, and that person could have a shrine of me in their creepy apt. with my stolen bras and snapshots of me walking up the stairs, locks of my hair and goodness knows what else. I will be washing my laundry elsewhere from now on but still what a fun if totally surreal suprise.

I had my bras and underwear stolen in a hostel in amsterdam by a guy from Michigan who spied on me in the shower. Stuff like that still gives me the heebie-geebies.
