Update on my Rash:
So went back to work yest. after being off a week. Tried to explain to them how bad this rash is and how bad it can get. dont think they were getting it at all. Made it thru the day but only because i spent my whole lunch time rushing home to take a bath and back. Was hoping they would try to work with me with some kind of work from home plan.
Today (well first last night couldnt sleep, got up at 4:45 to bath again) woke up at 6:30. my neck is killing me where it is moving up. it feels more raw and in some spots kinda like a paper cut. Daniel talked me into calling to say i would be alittle late and we stopped to get breakfast (I still have no appetite and havent been eating enough) He tells me I need to talk to work and have them figure something out because i cant keep going to work like this.
So went in and had a meeting with my boss. Explained to her that in only 11 days this rash has now covered my entire stomach and chest and is now moving up my neck and down my legs and is now on my wrist area too. The itching is unbearable, im completely miserable. Im constantly putting lotion on (which is hard to do with the little amt of privacy at my work) And now i am getting spot that just start to hurt. told her i wouldnt be able to make it thru the day.
She said i may have to take my FMLA early. the only thing is you only get 12 weeks a year and i still have another 13 weeks to go... and i need to use that for my maternity time. She didnt seem to like the work from home idea *(still hoping to talk the big boss into this one).
Called Dr office they said to go to the ER. Went to ER no help there, the Dr didnt even look like she knew what i was talking about. And told me to make sure i take my Benadryl q 6hrs (basically for the rest of my pregnancy) And prescribed some steroids and pepcid, which im not sure about taking.
made appt to see my OBGYN tomorrow and I am taking my mom with me, because she is worried maybe they are missing something. I dont know how im gonna survive 3mths of this. I took the benadryl at 1 and sleep till 4 when i woke up itching all over and had to hurry up and jump in the tub before i started scratching. Now Im doing all i can to keep myself from scratching..

And yeah, I'd like to know what it is about the bathroom too. It seems, when I want a good cry I go in there. (or my closet of all places.) But, to be fair, my closet is the size of a small bedroom so...
