UPDATE: for some reason my comp wont let me comment on anyone else's page, so just wanted to tell everyone thanks for all the comments.. it means alot to me. :o)


so I had to have my appendix removed yesterday...

I was having some stomach pains friday night, but was tryin to ignore it. Then around midnight I called my mom and asked her opinion on what i should do. She told me it might be my appendix but the pain was on my left side and didnt have any of the classical symptoms. So I said maybe i will just rest alittle and see if it gets better. Then someone at her work said in the background that if it easies up that means it ruptured. So i was like, i guess i better go. And I also started throwing up for no reason other than pain so i figured that wasnt good.

Got to the ER around 1am. ended up stayin there till like 10am. It was awful, I was in so much pain, and kept throwing up. They kept giving me phenergan for nausea, but pain was the real problem. Then i think the phenergan was causing spasms. I was having really really bad leg spasms, and really all body spasms at times. They then told me I was going to need surgery and had to go to the hospital down town. ((The hospital i worked at for one week, then refussed to work there any long due to the poor conditions at the hosp.))

So I got to ride in an ambulance to the other hospital, another first for me. As i pulled into the hosp down town my parents were there waiting for me. The surgeon came in and said i was going to surgery in an hour. Right after surgery in recovery I had to use the bedpan to pee. Then the nurse took it out but when i asked to wipe myself off she told me, No i had a pad under me. I tried asking her a few times but she told me know. I was so upset, i really wanted to cry.

Then they got me to my room and i was so happy to see my husband there waiting for me. Then my parents came in to see me and my sister and her family. My little niece even colored me a picture. They didnt stay there long, but my husband did. Then after i finally got some pain medication in me, my best friend chris came to get Daniel so he could go get his car and get cleaned up.

I wont make the rest of the story too long but it was a busy night. I was in alot of pain and it was a long long night. Poor daniel was so tired but he tried his best to make sure i was taken care of. Then i got to go home today. Daniel brought me over to my mom and dad's place. Because we are in the middle of moving right now and my bed is a mattress on the floor right now. So I am at my parents now and even have the internet. Im gonna be taking my percocet in a little while and go lay down and watch cable..
