I know its hard to just stand back and just be there, especially when it's someone you love or care for you want to do everything in your power...it's a hard call, sometimes you have to let people fall and be there to help piece themselves back together...and sometimes someone needs to step in. I guess this person just really needs to open their eyes and realize it's not worth it. But maybe they don't value their self enough...same thing happened to my mom when she was 12, by her own cousin. She told me she lost a lot of self respect, self value. I wish we could prevent things like this, when someone hurts you like that...they have no idea the long-term effect on that person.
