so yeah, i was out on a mission, had just found some shade and was downing a bottled water when something caught my eye; the water has an expiration date?! correct me if im wrong, but hasnt water been around for like millions of years?
typical of my luck. millions of years and i get to drink it on its last good week.

anyways, the elections went well. the taliban rocketed our patrol base, but were too far away to even hit anywhere close. typical cowards. all it did was wake me up from my nap.
so out of 17 provinces in this country, ours was the only one without any incidents at any of the polling stations. ooh-rah?
nation-wide.....the people of afghanistan showed up to vote and the elections were widely viewed as a success, so who knows? maybe there is hope for this country after all. whatever. i just want to go home already.
my apologies on the delay of D-Day plus 5....i plead guilty on the charge being sidetracked. if its any consolation, the next and final installment of my saga wont disappoint.
