have i mentioned how much i hate this country before? before, i just hated the sun....the way it taunted me by rising at 4am and exposing its blistering heat until 8pm. but each day i am starting to hate more and more about it . i hate the roads, if thats what you want to call them....these unpaved, narrow, dangerous roads. if the roadside bombs dont get you, the steep dropoffs will and sometimes 4WD just isnt enough. the marine corps has sucked many of lifes pleasures dry. before the corps, i used to love camping, but countless field ops have ruined that for me. and now, one of my favorite past times....driving. the thrill is gone.

but no matter what there are always some things that still manage to make me smile. like the lovely
