Even I am tired of looking at my last blog. I really want to update it with another series of photos and the story behind them.
That being said, this writing a novel in 30 days thing (NaNoWriMo)is really eating at my other creative outlets. I haven't even looked at my photos from the last month. I have picked up the guitar only 3 or 4 times, and 3 of my unfinished paintings are still on the easel and stuck on the wall.
The good new is, I am going to finish this novel. It's not good, not yet, maybe never will be. Maybe the second draft will bring out the brilliance. That wasn't really the point. The point was to finish one, and I am 2000 or so words away with 6 days to go.
The best part is that it has got me writing every single day, something that I will continue to do once the month is over. I have a couple short story ideas that I am excited to start on, but they will have to wait until December.
