So it was an awesome day today weather-wise...a little warmer than I would have liked it to been, but hey can't exactly complain when there's clear skies right?
The day itself was busy. I have a lot of little appointments that had me all over God's creation but it is what it is. Gotta make that money right?
Tonight I worked on my sleeve sketch some more. Laid down even more color and shading. You can see that below.
And also...hadn't talked to "him" this entire week really, then right around 5:30pm I get a text from him. I honestly haven't thought about him really at all this entire week...guess that's why I ended up hearing from him...strange how shit works. But it's whatever. I made the decision in my mind I'm no longer going to chase him. If he wants to be with me, well then he's gonna have to make a concerned effort to be with me. He wants to hang out tomorrow and take my dog to the dog park. We shall see.
But on another note, someone from my past came back into my life. Someone who, I honestly could see myself with, if only our schedules weren't so crazy. Me working at all times, him working long ass days. But he came over tonight...he was in the area with his motorcycle buddies and broke away from them to come see me. We hung out here for quite a few hours and just talked. It was nice. And he told me he wanted to work on a relationship with me...we talked about our schedules and how we just need to communicate. We'll see how everything goes. I'm done getting my hopes up with men, so I'm just going to take it day-by-day and see where I end up.
Other than that I guess I really don't have much to write about. School is gonna be getting here pretty quick. I'm taking September off just so I can get my finances back in order. Couple of "surprise" bills have popped up...I hate when that shit happens.
