So I'm actually posting at a reasonable hour. I've gone and surprised myself.
My eyes are killing me...the weather has been sorta goofy and I think I'm in the beginning stages of a cold. I've already practically ODed on preventative cold meds and even regular cold meds to make sure I don't end up getting sick.
I had mentioned yesterday-ish that I was getting an Alice in Wonderland sleeve....well not anymore. A) I've grown to dislike the original idea I came up with...probably from spending too much time on it and B) too much fine detail in it for a sleeve. But...I do have a brand new sketch...well actually the sketch is already fine-tuned and fixed up, for the "new" sleeve I guess?
Aaaannnnyyyyyway, it's for my grandmother. Now she and my grandfather, along with my two aunts and my mom, lived in Hong Kong for some time back when lol, and she got really into the Chinese Zodiac...this woman has like an entire shelf of books about it, well earlier this year she was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma after having had been sick for 2 years already from Shingles.
She's a Metal Snake, so I designed a Viper (picture attached)..took me FOREVER to design that damn thing, and now I'm adding flowers, grass, blue sky (representing her beauty inside and out) background and some storm clouds (representing the struggles she's had the past few years) and possibly the name my twin brother and I call her in script at my wrist.
The snake itself color-wise I'm having issues with...thiiiinking....black, blue and grey, with a red chest? My grandmother's eyes are a striking blue so of course those are the Viper's eyes as well. Could really use some opinions on the color-scheme of the Viper. Don't forget...Metal Snake
