just because someone comes from money doesn't mean they, in fact, have money.

but, the dude is certainly a douche for closing your place without notice, not paying you, and then trying to throw himself a pity party. he knew what he was getting into when he opened the place- that's why some ridiculously high number of restaurants fail, in general. and if he didn't know what he was getting into, you can add "idiot" onto douchebag.

that link to the Dogs blog was powerful. I held my cat, sharpie, close to me when i read the post; michio kurihara was in the background, playing "a boat of courage". i ended up saving sharpie and her brother, taco, from a trip to the gas chamber. i knew who their mother was and, most importantly, her owner. i chided him for not getting his cat spayed and for not letting me know about his plans with these kittens, let alone that his cat had kittens and no home. we have been friends for a long time, and he's helped pull me through one of the worst times in my life. but when he decided to abandon my cat's mother when he moved, i had made up my mind. no friend of mine will be so selfish and blatantly inaffectionate towards another creature. hell, he hasn't even taken initiative to ask about my cats, looked for his cat, nor payed a visit to my new place to see how they've grown. bastard.
i've seen so much peta and animal activist propoganda that i'm blue in the face. my suggestion to you is to not consume any foodstuffs that are not local, humane, or produced on a commercial scale. if you take away the necessity to make these products readliy available, then you've done your part. being in the service industry, i've faced this issue on many occasions. it helped me choose my eating habits and made me aware of what i was buying. due to my insistent nagging, our restaurant has more local products on our menu than before. it's a start, but there's still alot that can be done. i am omnivorous by the nature of my profession, and even to this day, i still indulge in a burger every now and again. the only difference is that i'm making that burger from scratch from the bovine who had a good life on a grassy knoll in south carolina. fuck you, mickey d's.

yeah, no shit. I actually broke up with a girlfriend over how stupid valentine's day. She was upset that I didn't buy her something on that day, but completely forgot that I got her something 2 weeks earlier. Materialistic bitches

Screw driveing on roads like that. It's not bad right now and I don't even want to drive my ass to the gym much less drive them for a living.

i recommend reading the tags and memories for a livejournal community all about stretching.

its really important to glow slow, and listen to your body. i highly advise against getting to 3/4 or even 7/8 within a year. but take it slow, and listen to what your body says. that is the most important thing. it will save you lots of troubles down the line
