i did something really childish and deleted my dad from my "friends" list on both myspace and facebook. i figure that if he wants to know anything about me, he'll have to do it without the option to creep around my pages.

The movie "curious case of benjamin button" inspired me to journal more often. The best I can offer are some points of interest:

-I got a lot done today. The new calendar helps. My brain will explode with organization. The cat box is still clean!

-In other news, I have been blown off by my dad (again) and wondering if I should pull the plug....

the instructors are cool for the most part. They are mostly just locals. You only have to work in a salon for two years before you can become an instructor, so some of them are pretty young. I just tell them "listen here kid!" LOL As far as down time, I just mean we spend a lot of time just fucking around in class because the lessons aren't fast paced at all. We only have class once a week so if you spend a lot of that time chatting or waiting for the instructor to go take a smoke break, it's a little frustrating. But some of the instructors are hard core, smart, and like to teach you extra little things. My friend/ hairstylist told me that getting through school is the hardest part of the job. So just get in your zone, mind your own business and don't worry about what everyone else is doing or how their numbers are. The only part that you control is you, so don't worry about anything else besides that.

my dad makes me so angry sometimes.... i recently encouraged him to get a facebook profile so's we can play scrabble online... he got pissed at me for taking a couple days to make a move (i work two jobs on the weekends).... he forfeited the game (on top of talking about me publicly on "facebook" for not making a move)

Oh. got it.
I had to go back to linens n things to exchange that frame. It was broken. Then they weren't going to let me trade it in for a new one one(because the store is being liquidated) so I gave them shit: ("I was just here 30 minutes ago! You mean to tell me no returns, no refunds, and no exchanges? So I just paid $50 for a cracked frame?"
When they saw that I was a bit pissed they let me trade it for a different one. But the girl made sure it was "of the same price or less."

Just that Carlson's is a little farther, and Blick's discount card was free when I was still a student..
hmm...might have to pay for the next renewal..
Plus, Blick's was the cheapest online when I went lookin' for Copic markers a while back.
