In other news, my day was fan-diddly-astic! I'm bubbling over with creation....
Went to class and was given a special project to be entered into a weird competition that involves "softies"

Picked up some free fabric (some of it is really beautiful) from a swell guy....
Went to Vogue Fabrics in Evanston... I was a kid in a candy store. I found some really cool taffeta to mix with the donated fabric. I will be turning out some purses. I also found some corset busks (yay!), dress fabric (for under ten bucks!), needles, and gold speckled vinyl (unfortunately not 5/8 inches thick). The gold vinyl will be a good start for mask making.
My dress will be finished tonight. I finished the coat I was making. Pics later.
