Groundhogs, Dreams of Sedona and wanting a less hectic work schedule.

The fight was pretty good last night. I enjoyed staying home and watching it. All of my food was good and it was nice to just relax. I have been sitting here doing my weekly schedule. It puzzles me as how I manage to go to
Rochester, Utica, Syracuse and Oswego sometimes all on the same day and still keep office hours and work two jobs. I cant seem to make my schedule work this week...so I browsed the classifieds and found a few jobs that seemed to be low stress and sounded fun.

I wish I didnt have to work...or maybe only one job. I think my little guy deserves to have me home more than I am. Even though he gets to go to job number 2 it doesnt seem fair.

The super bowl is tonight and I do not care much about it. I have some numbers that i purchased....but I dont know if they are good ones or not. I do like the commercials, probably b/c I am in advertising. I have been very upset with the quality of some of the shit that has been out lately and I do hope to see and improvemnt.

My son said that the ground hog saw his shadow...what does that mean for this snow belt NY'er...8 more weeks of winter or not? I am always confused by that. Can someone explain it to me.

I had dreams of sunny Sedona Arizona all night, with the sun on my face. The heat and the special way your soul feels there. I would give anything to live there...Anyone want to take me in?

Question of the day: Where would you live if you could?

i think he will, it had the feel of a good last hurrah for him... also, i think he will be able to have a great career training other fighters and working with the ufc in some capacity as a personality.

i feel the same way about his smile. it gives away everything, like you're watching them enter the ring and you are nervous as hell, but he isn't, it's just a day at the office for him and he's got a smirk for you.

it was a pretty good fight. chuck really came out with an intent for victory, so it's nice to see that this fight will benefit both of their careers, with chuck solidifying himself as the top fighter in his weight class and randy going out after a legendary trilogy with a top fighter. a suitable last hurrah.

Hey grrrrl ! I would ALSO move to the Southwest... but I think NM is more my taste. Nice dry heat, beautiful horizon... if only everyone I love didn't live out here in freezing Massachusetts.

Just wanted to drop a line and say thanks for the input on my friend situation. Unfortunately, I did call the spade a spade: two weeks ago I confronted PM about her treating Jen like a doormat, and she reacted quite ferociously: screamed at me and forbade Jen to bring me around anytime she is there (which is always). Now I must settle for a phone call when PM is at work. Jen called today to tell me that PM is still refusing to show any attention to her in public places and won't set a date until "they" can save enough money to buy a house, which in reality terms, is never. Ho hum. I've tried inviting Jen out without the girl, but the girl insists that Jen must involve her in everything. I will just have to bide my time until PM finds someone else and breaks up with Jen. Unfortunately, yes, her psychiatric condition does come with quite a bit of codependence: all of her past longterm relationships have ended with her either threatening suicide or homicide. But I can't make her detach herself, so I will just keep my friendship monitor on stand-by until this resolves. Ayy.

Jesus, I bitch about the cold in Mass; I can't imagine the frozen tundra in upstate NY! smile
