So last night- someone called me at midnight as i was settling in for the night and told me i HAD to come and see a band that was playing down the street from me....
They were called THE SPAM ALLSTARS- which consisted of 8 people all at the top of their musical classes, who joined together to create this fabulous funk meets jazz and salsa sound that was just crazy.... They had a steel- drum/timbale/ vocalist, a trumpet player, a slide trombonist, an exquisite tenor sax , a flutist, and electic guitar, and a dj.
There were so many people dancing and some fabulous hot-steppers that really got into it and broke it down. The purple and blue mood lights that covered everyone really added to the cool groove that was happening on stage.
If you guys ever want to see a really concert, go and see them!
