Realizations. They can be some of the happiest moments in your life. They can also be some of the darkest.

I've been fighting to find a worthwhile relationship for a damn long time, and I've had no real luck at it. I've been comfortable being single for a good while. That's not the issue. But what if I'm NEVER going to find what I'm looking for? That'd be a bitch. It's a hard fact to face. Being alone isn't really anything special, but being alone forever has a lot more condecending tone to it. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic and overanalyzing the whole thing, but I'm in a bit of a funk right now.

I've got the next three days off. Hopefully they'll be good to me.
