-I went to the OB/GYN today, only my regular doctor is apparently on sabbatical. The new doctor, in the midst of the exam looked up over the sheet covering my knees (modesty, ya know?) and asked if I wanted the something, something (he was mumbling), too. "It's $40 extra," he said, making me feel as if he was trying to sell me on "value-added" products for my pap smear.
"I think I got that last time I was here," said I.
"That's okay, I'll do it for free."
Oookay.
