I feel so bad for the arabs and musilms around the world who are stuck trying to explain that they want nothing to do with the extremists who go around blowing things up in the name of their religion. At the same time I also wish that the major world leaders would do a better job of thinking ahead and putting a better foot forward instead of jumping into wars. I don't know how many of you might have heard (sorry I've forgotten the name of the ship) about the navy hospital ship that after the sunamis was sent out to visit the effected counties and do what they could to help. It was the first time any of the US ships had been used for such efforts as far as my understanding goes. With a staff of doctors and nurses that gave up their time to work on the ship for a couple weeks at a time per shift. Why can't we have done something like that sooner. Hell why can't we do more of that now to help those who need it instead of holding our state of the art stuff as close to home as we can?
I'm sure we will never be rid of the bigotted idiots in the world who wish only to think what they want and spread hate and ignorance. But why is it that all the negative minorities like terrorists, biggots, and hate groups can keep screwing things up royally for the rest of us?
