One of the things I detest about my profession is that there are "experts" in comfortable, prosperous sinecures who make a living exhorting my colleagues to sacrifice ever more, and when we balk, they accuse us of being greedy, lazy, and self-serving.
What have THEY ever sacrificed.
Everyone has an absolute right to their reasonable self-interest.
