it is expensive. 800 a month. 500 deposit. you can find a bit cheaper possibly but the bay area is expensive because it is a desirable place to live. the peninsula....between like burlingame area sunnyvale and beyond a bit is particularly expensive and that is generally where i have been staying... if you move north more(sfo) or south more(san jose) it gets cheaper....but then i get too far from work and school...rents have been going down...but so have jobs sadly....i do get financial aid...but not much...so it will be hard for me...but 800 is lower end of the rent....it is cheaper rent for the bay area....
